Hey there! I’m Randy—a family man, soccer enthusiast, and lifelong learner. Whether I’m cheering on SVD Beaumont or balancing my studies as a senior at Lamar University, my passion for growth and teamwork is at the heart of everything I do. With graduation just around the corner in May, I’m excited to take the next step toward pursuing my master’s degree.

By day, I work as a Data Center Engineer at Amazon, tackling the complexities of technology and innovation. But when I’m not deep in the world of data centers, you can find me on the soccer field, enjoying quality time with family, or planning my next big adventure.

Hi, I’m Randy Gummelt, and first and foremost, I’m a family man. My family is the center of everything I do, and they inspire me to work hard, give back, and grow in every aspect of life. Beyond that, I’ve built a career that I’m incredibly passionate about, with over 12 years of experience in HVAC and power systems. As a Power and HVAC Road Technician, I thrive on tackling complex challenges—whether it’s troubleshooting industrial equipment or mentoring the next generation of technicians.

When I’m not out in the field, you’ll usually find me at home with the people who matter most to me, or volunteering in my community. I’ve coached youth sports teams, helped with recovery programs, and supported local shelters—because I believe in giving back and being there for others, just like I am for my family.

For me, life is about balance—working hard, staying curious, and cherishing the moments with loved ones. Whether it’s on the job or at home, I aim to approach everything with integrity, dedication, and heart.
